These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Andy’s Painting Services and to the use of this website.

By contacting us, requesting a quote, booking work, or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

Andy’s Painting Services provides interior and exterior painting and decorating services, including preparation, painting, staining, and related finishing work for residential and light commercial properties.

All services are carried out with reasonable care, skill, and professionalism in line with industry standards.

2. Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes are provided free of charge

• Quotes are based on the information available at the time of assessment

• Prices may vary if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen issues arise (e.g. hidden damage, additional preparation required)

• Any changes to pricing will be discussed and agreed before additional work is carried out

Quotes are valid for a reasonable period unless otherwise stated.

3. Bookings & Scheduling

• A booking is confirmed once a start date has been agreed

• Dates may be subject to change due to weather conditions (for exterior work), material availability, or circumstances beyond our control

• We will always aim to provide reasonable notice if a date needs to be rescheduled

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property

• Remove or secure personal items where requested

• Inform us of any known issues that may affect the work (e.g. damp, unstable surfaces, previous coatings)

Andy’s Painting Services is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or undisclosed conditions.

5. Materials & Finishes

• Trade-grade materials are used unless otherwise agreed

• Colour choices and finishes are the customer’s responsibility once confirmed

• We are not responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from colour selection after application

Minor variations in colour or finish can occur due to lighting, surface condition, or previous coatings.

6. Cleanliness & Property Care

Reasonable care is taken to protect floors, furniture, and surrounding areas. While every effort is made to leave work areas clean and tidy, some dust or residue may be unavoidable during preparation and painting processes.

7. Payment Terms

• Payment terms will be agreed prior to work starting

• Payment is due upon completion of the agreed work unless otherwise stated

• Late payment may result in additional charges or refusal of future work

8. Cancellations

• Customers are asked to provide reasonable notice if cancelling or rescheduling a booking

• Late cancellations may result in a charge where time, materials, or travel have already been committed

9. Liability

Andy’s Painting Services holds appropriate insurance for the work carried out.

We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing defects or structural issues

• Damage caused by hidden or previously undisclosed conditions

• Normal wear and tear following completion

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

10. Photographs & Work Examples

With permission, photographs of completed work may be used for portfolio or marketing purposes. No identifying personal information will be published.

11. Website Use

Website content is provided for general information only. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is current or error-free.

Content may not be copied or reused without permission.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website.

13. Governing Law
